Primrose Hill Community Library Film Club started in January 2014 with a sell out for The Madness of King George, introduced by Alan Bennett.
The aim is to show world and classic cinema and to offer a showcase for short films by local film makers. We hope to have most of the main films introduced by someone involved in their production.
Films are usually shown on the first Tuesday of each month. Tickets are £8 for cash only, limited to two per person. They go on sale from two Saturdays before the film show, during normal opening times at the Library. Price includes a glass of wine or soft drink. Doors are open at 7.30 pm, introduction at 7.45 pm and the film starts at 8.00 pm.
Tickets and seating are unreserved. Latecomers may not be admitted and their seats may be offered to another guest. There are no refunds but if people could return unwanted tickets and donate them to the Library, we would be grateful as we may be able to re-sell them.
