Author Talk with Henrietta Goodden

How the Royal College of Art built its reputation for fashion and design

Madge Garland, Janey Ironside, Joanne Brogden and Wendy Dagworthy were a quartet of remarkable educators and doyennes of style and skill who encouraged their students to produce nothing but the best. The RCA School of Fashion’s reputation is still second to none for innovation in design and manufacturing techniques, and its alumni are now in positions of influence throughout the world.

Local author Henrietta Goodden gives a fascinating illustrated talk on how this reputation developed through 1948-2014.
