Primrose Hill Community Library has been saved by your pledges of time and financial support.
We are still looking for volunteers to help, whether you can spare the odd hour a week or day a month, everything helps to keep this much need service open and running.
We need volunteers to do the following:
Front Desk Roles- issuing books and taking reservations and registering new members, answering phone calls and front of desk book queries. This role is face to face with our members and might also involve re-shelving and maintaining the book stocks. This role would suit someone who is confident with computers.
General Administration Roles-such as answering phone calls and e-mails; taking messages. Shelving books and tidying the shelves, covering new books and preparing them to be added to the system.
Book Administration Roles- Adding new stock to the system, weeding and deleting old items. Catologing and updating item records. This job would suit someone who is confident using a computer.
Meeters and Greeters- This would suit someone who is not very confident using a computer but would still like to help out. We need volunteers who can direct customers to classes and events and answer general enquiries.
