Gig at the Library: Lauren Manning

Lauren Manning has recently arrived in the London scene, having performed with her band at most of Cape Town’s happening venues, a place she calls home. Her sound draws on elements within and on the periphery of Indie, Soul and Jazz, each track driven by her warm and soul-chilling vocals. Lyrically, Lauren invites the listener into a space of her most personal and vulnerable feelings, fears, desires and concerns, asking without asking, that you consider your own.
