Gig: Bandra Hursel

Bandra Hursel are a 6-piece jazz fusion band based in London. They play regular gigs around the city, with recent venues including the O2 Islington and the Bedford. Bandra are also booked to play at Cheltenham Jazz Festival in May. They recorded their first EP in February which is due for release in late spring.

Bandra Hursel have a slick live set consisting of original songs drawing from jazz, funk, soul, and neo-soul genres. Artistic influences include Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Jamiroquai, Steely Dan, Robert Glasper, Amy Winehouse, Jordan Rakei and Alfa Mist. Their sets are notable for clean instrumental chops and powerful, euphoric vocals.

Bandra Hursel will play a stripped back set at the PCHL playing a mix of original music, covers, and jazz standards.
