Room Hire

We’ve hired out our rooms at the Library for learning, book launches, lectures, and even a wedding. The Children’s Library has proven to be particularly popular on Sundays for birthday parties

We have seating and tables for 30 children as well as seating for up to 60 adults and there is a state of the art audiovisual equipment in the Adults Library which can be used for an additional fee.

As well as providing the community with inexpensive and flexible function space it is an important source of income that is vital to keeping your Library open

Priority Use

Library sponsored events are given priority and thereafter rooms may be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Availability

Please telephone the Library on 0207 419 6599 during normal opening hours to inquire if the time and space you’re interested in is currently available.  Alternatively, you can send us an email – events@phcl.org.  

Hire Rates

Rates are charged by the hour and determined by the day, space and regularity as follows:

Children’s Library

• Weekday regular hire up to 6pm £25 per hour (£40 per hour after 6pm)
• Single hire £40 per hour
• Weekend regular and single hire £50 per hour

Adult Library

• Weekday regular hire up to 6pm £20 per hour (£30 per hour after 6pm) 
• Single hire £30 per hour
• Weekend regular and single hire £40 per hour
